Thank you to everyone that dropped off your old lights! You truly made an impact by not dumping them or putting them in the landfill. Be on the lookout for information on the 2025 lights recycle!

​​​​​​​​We are offering our community a way to give their old lights a new life and keep them out of the landfill! We will have bins set up in the lobby of the C.L. Simon Rec. Center & Judy B. McDonald Public Library starting the week after Thanksgiving until January 10th. Lights can be dropped off during their business hours. Once the season is over, STS Recycling will pick them up and recycle them!

What will be accepted:

• String lights with mini bulbs 

​

What we will not accept:

• No string lights with large bulbs  

• No shaped lights 

• No rope lights 

• No lawn ornaments

Please adhere to what will be accepted and what will not be accepted in order for Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful to continue offering this program for free to the community in the future.
